Discover Spanish royals favourite Barceló Formentor on the Formentor headland in Pollença, Majorca

Travel beyond Palma and head up the coast to the wild peninsula of Majorca’s northeast tip. Barceló Formentor is an impressive hotel on the Formentor headland in Pollença, in an area of outstanding natural beauty on a private 3,000 acre estate and enjoys spectacular views over Formentor Bay.

The hotel itself comprises 124 bedrooms including 18 Grand Deluxe suites and three junior suites, all of which have stunning views. In addition, Barceló Formentor offers guests a large variety of adventure pursuits including golf, caving, climbing and tennis. The vast hotel grounds feature a number of nature trails to be enjoyed on foot, mountain bike or on horse-back. Walking enthusiasts will love the winding paths leading to pretty hill villages.

For cyclists the hotel offers mountain bikes for guests to explore the headland and enjoy the stunning views, and with the dramatic mountain range surrounding and sheltering Formentor’s wide, curving, sandy bay, the waters are calm and inviting and ideal for water sports such as parasailing, surfing, sailing and more.
