Play Off 2nd Leg

AFC Archant 3 Indoor Milan 1

Scorers: Elgin (2), Edwards

AFC Archant win 9-2 on aggregate

Some things in this football life are inevitable. Wenger won't have seen it, Ferguson won't accept his team were well beaten, and Warnock will blame the ref. Likewise, turning up for a game already 6-1 ahead meant we weren't exactly focused - and even had the luxury of our keeper turning up ten minutes late.

Still, we played OK. Going a goal down after Tom's miserable attempt to keep the ball out, Jo Dean arrived to show his worth and be the first person ever to turn up so late for a game and still win man of the match. Two world class saves earns you that.

We did well to turn the game around and could have won by a similar margin to last week, but our shooting boots weren't really on. The Hand of Elgin aside, our goals were well worked and it was good to see us continuing the good football from the previous week. Bring on the final! (Yes, the losers final)
